- Explain the relationship between foundational neurological systems (reflexes, sensory processing, executive function) and occupational performance in children.
- Recall evidence-based research supporting the role of reflex integration, sensory integration, and executive functioning interventions as approaches in improving functional outcomes.
- Describe how occupational therapists can use sensory and reflex integration principles as preparatory supports to enhance regulation and skills in daily routines and educational tasks.
When You Know There’s More Beneath the Surface
Your goal may be for fine-motor skills, speech articulation, or improved balance, but if we only use interventions at the surface progress can stall.
This mini-summit is designed to help you integrate the evidence based interventions that address the many layers to the delays or challenges your treating in your sessions both meaningfully and effectively!
