How To Decrease Aggressive Behaviors

With a step-by-step plan and research-backed strategies for kids with explosive emotions.

Taught by Alisha Grogan MOT, OTR/L for parents and therapists

Aggressive Behaviors Like Hitting, Throwing Yelling, and Kicking Can Feel…

Scary

How do you keep everyone safe?

Overwhelming

How do I calm this down?

Confusing

Where did these big emotions come from?

But there are real-world, research-backed strategies you can start using right away to feel secure and confident when these behaviors erupt.

You’re not alone.

Some research estimates that as many as

40%
of neurodivergent kids have aggressive behaviors particularly towards care givers.

The aggression isn’t part of any diagnosis though. It’s due to a variety of factors ranging from sensory needs to a fight or flight response.
