Soothing Popsicles for Sore Throat in Kids

Only a few minutes to pull together and 3-4 hours to set in the freezer!

Ingredients

  • 2 Teabags Herbal Tea Apple Cinnamon, Peppermint, Chamomile, Ginger, Lemon, or Orange Herbal Teas are all options
  • 2 Cups Boiling Water
  • 1/3 Cup Maty's Natural Cough Syrup or 3 Tbsp of Honey
  • 1/2 Cup Fruit (Berries, Cherries, Mango, or Oranges) Optional

Instructions

  1. Steep herbal tea of choice for 10 minutes. 

  2. Mix in cough syrup or honey with a whisk or blender.

  3. If desired use a blender or food processor to mix in frozen fruit.

  4. Pour in popsicle mold and place in freezer for 3 to 4 hours until frozen.

Recipe Notes

This recipe is extremely adaptable. You could substitute the tea for juice, sparking water, yogurt, or even ice cream.
