From Theory to Practice: Retained Reflexes, Sensory Integration, and Executive Functioning
(CEU upgrade available)
When You Know There’s More Beneath the Surface
You became a therapist to create meaningful change in kids that are facing challenges. You know there’s more happening beneath the surface, but staying current with research and translating it into real-world treatment can feel overwhelming.
This mini-summit helps you reconnect research to practice. You’ll gain clarity and learn how to apply evidence-based concepts in ways that feel practical and effective.

DAY 2
Sensory Integration + The Power of Neuroplasticity
What is true sensory integration? Why it matters for outcomes, and how to use it well in treatment.
DAY 3
Building Executive Function Skills Intentionally
Executive function is a trainable skill set, and therapists building this skills can be incorporated into almost every aspect of sessions and routines.
DAY 4
LIVE Session: 3 Case Studies: The Results of Brain-Body Integration
See reflex integration, sensory integration, and executive function applied together through real case profiles, live clinical reasoning, and practical decision-making.
Meet Your Instructor
I’m Alisha Grogan, MOT, OTR/L, a pediatric occupational therapist, national speaker, and the founder of Your Kid’s Table, an education platform serving therapists and families since 2012.
I’ve been practicing as an OT for over 20 years, supporting children with sensory processing differences, retained primitive reflexes, executive functioning challenges, feeding difficulties, and regulation needs. My work focuses on understanding why challenges show up and how to create meaningful, lasting change and progress so kids can reach their full potential!
Over the past decade, I’ve taught thousands of therapists through continuing education courses, workshops, and clinical trainings. I’m known for translating current, evidence-based research into practical strategies that fit real therapy sessions — without oversimplifying the work or losing clinical depth.
