Any child can struggle with big emotions and frequent meltdowns—especially kids with sensory sensitivities, ADHD, or autism. And the more they happen, the more they’ll keep happening. But you can break the cycle.

Inside this practical toolkit, you’ll get audio tracks, quick-reference handouts, and a video demo so you know exactly how to handle meltdowns in the moment and stop them before they start.

Meet Your Guide: Alisha Grogan, MOT, OTR/L

Hi, I’m Alisha—pediatric occupational therapist, mom of three, and creator of Your Kid’s Table and The Connection Hive.

With over 20 years of experience as a pediatric OT, I’ve worked with hundreds of families across schools, clinics, and homes, helping kids with emotional regulation, sensory needs, and meltdowns. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel when your child is struggling—because I’ve lived it, too.

As a mom of three—including one neurodivergent child—I’ve been in the trenches, navigating meltdowns and big emotions in real time.

I built the Meltdown Rescue Kit to give you the same practical, proven tools I’ve used with countless families (and my own) to help you feel more confident, prepared, and calm when meltdowns happen.

You’re not alone in this—I’m here to help!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this just for younger kids?

Nope! These strategies work for kids of all ages—even tweens and teens—because they focus on the root causes of meltdowns, not just surface behaviors.

Is this helpful for autism, ADHD, or sensory processing challenges?

Absolutely. The tools inside are designed with neurodivergent kids in mind, but they’re useful for any child who struggles with emotional regulation and have no diagnosis.

How do I access the kit?

As soon as you purchase, you’ll get instant access via email either into our therapist or parent portal. You can listen to the audio lessons, watch the video, and download your printables whenever it works for you.

As a parent, you can download, print, hang them on your fridge, or save them to your phone for quick access. As a therapist, you can share the printables in treatment with your clients.

Ready to have a meltdown game plan?

There is NO one trick. It’s about having a step-by-step plan so you can feel confident and teach your child how to get out of the meltdown spiral.
